(Natural News) David Katz, the mass shooter who reportedly opened fire on a group of gamers at a “Madden NFL 19” tournament in Florida — killing two fellow gamers, then himself — had been treated for mental illness and prescribed both antipsychotic and antidepressant drugs, according to multiple media reports.
“[A]s a teenager he was hospitalized twice in psychiatric facilities and was prescribed anti-psychotic and anti-depressant medications,” reports Fox News.

Somehow, the “gun-free zone” failed to stop bullets
The mall where the tournament took place was another “gun-free zone” that failed to stop a murderer from opening fire, astonishingly. The world has yet to figure out why “gun-free zone” signs don’t stop people from using guns. Meanwhile, gun control advocates call for expanding gun-free zones to encompass the entire nation, figuring that the only reason they don’t work is because they aren’t large enough.
Importantly, Katz acquired his firearms legally, purchasing them in Baltimore, Maryland where gun purchases are more restricted than almost anywhere else in the nation. He reportedly purchased the firearms in the last month and followed all gun purchase background checks, proving yet again that expanding gun background checks would not have stopped this mass shooting.
Katz was also an “anti-Trumper” who referred to supporters or President Trump as “Trumptards.” As his Reddit history shows, Katz frequently wrote that Trump supporters were mentally retarded.
Like many of today’s youth, Katz appeared to be vulgar and obnoxious, much like the anti-gun “Hitler Youth” wannabe David Hogg, who talks like a foul-mouthed fascist.
Thanks to “everybody’s a winner” indoctrination by horrible parents and warped public education institutions, many young people today have become hyper-privileged, angry sociopaths who care about no one but themselves. That so many of them turn to violence to solve their problems — Antifa, anyone? — is yet another disturbing commentary about the cultural collapse now plaguing the modern world.
