New Jersey: 1 In 5 Mail-In Ballots Rejected As Fraudulent

Voter fraud continues each and every election cycle and yet, for the most part, we seldom see real justice brought to bear on the part of those committing the crime.  The latest evidence of fraud is out of the stat of New Jersey, where 1 in 5 mail-in ballots were rejected as fraudulent.

Real Clear Politics reports:

Following accusations of widespread fraud, voter intimidation, and ballot theft in the May 12 municipal elections in Paterson, N.J., state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal (pictured) announced Thursday he is charging four men with voter fraud – including the vice president of the City Council and a candidate for that body.

With races still undecided, control of the council hangs in the balance. Paterson is New Jersey’s third largest city and the election will decide the fate of a municipal budget in excess of $300 million, in addition to hundreds of millions more in education spending and state aid.

In the City Council election, 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots were received, but only 13,557 votes were counted. More than 3,190 votes, 19% of the total ballots cast, were disqualified by the board of elections. Due to the pandemic, Paterson’s election was done through vote-by-mail. Community organizations, such as the city’s NAACP chapter, are calling for the entire election to be invalidated.

Western Journal reports:

Between 500 and 700 Republicans received the wrong ballots out of about 2,400 enrolled Republicans in Bernardsville, NJ.com reported.

“The slate of candidates was all Democrat from Joe Biden down to dogcatcher, but on the upper right it clearly stated it was a Republican ballot and it had my name and correct information on the return envelope,” Karen Gardner, the chairwoman of the Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee, said.

Usually, the Somerset County clerk’s office would do the printing. However, after New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy ordered every voter to receive a ballot in the mail, the job was farmed out.

“If we had had a greater lead time when we were sending out these ballots, we would have been able to do the ballot insertion in-house and this error would have been caught,” Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter said.

Peter said the county never before had to deal with mailing 125,000 ballots, according to the Courier-News.

Corrected ballots were sent last week, Peter said.

The error was laid at the door of the printing company that sent out the ballots, but the government still had a role in the mixup.

Of course, they had a role in it.  New Jersey is controlled by the very people those “mixups” were in favor.

When are we going to stop calling these things a mistake and treat them like the crimes they are?  It really is treasonous because it undermines the voice of the people in the entire process.
