Watch: Ocasio-Cortez has no idea what the three branches of government are

In a video posted to Twitter over the weekend, Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proved she has absolutely no idea what the three branches of government are, despite the fact that she’s been elected to one of those branches.

“If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress — uh, rather, all three chambers of government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House,” she said Saturday during a call with other Democrats.

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra posted video of her ridiculous comment to Twitter:

As Saavedra correctly noted, the three branches, not chambers, of the U.S. government, are the executive, legislative, and judicial.

Ocasio-Cortez, however, wasn’t finished making an idiot of herself online.

“Maybe instead of Republicans drooling over every minute of footage of me in slow-mo, waiting to chop up word slips that I correct in real-tomd [sic], they actually step up enough to make the argument they want to make: that they don’t believe people deserve a right to healthcare,” she tweeted.

Reaction on Twitter was pretty much what you’d expect:

Good question.  We suggest she start with basic high school civics…

Just think, this is what DNC boss Tom Perez said is the future of the Democrat Party.  Yes, elections do have consequences…
