Democrat or Republican? Questions on Cesar Sayoc, Mail Bomber

Listening to the news about Cesar Sayoc, the alleged mail bomber, has brought up a plethora of questions. A fingerprint led to his arrest and authorities used his cell phone to track him down.

From His Facebook, Cesar Sayoc pictured at a Trump Rally in Fla

“It almost seemed like he knew he was going to get caught soon and that he was expecting it…He was in handcuffs, and he was calmly escorted to the vehicle. I saw him get in, no problem. And he just had that look of, ‘OK. It’s over.’” Witness Paul Smith

Is he really a Republican or is he a Democrat?

The archived profile on MyLife shows Cesar Sayoc as a Democrat. That profile was deliberately archived by someone on “26 Oct 2018 15:59:07 UTC.” That time would be 8:59 a.m. Pacific, or 11:59 A.M. Eastern or around the time of his arrest.

His mother is a “committed Democrat” according to ABC.

The profile was allegedly created prior to 2016. In 2016 Sayoc reportedly registered as a Republican and began obsessing over President Trump. Democrats are saying that profiles on MyLife can be edited by anyone…obviously pointing the finger at Republicans.

Why were some of the packages not postmarked if they went through the mail service?

The obvious answer to this question would be if postal workers found the package before it was postmarked, or if it was hand delivered. It is unclear why Sayoc  sent identical packages to all of the Democrat politicians and Robert  De Niro. Except that it made the packages easily recognizable, easily found.

Getting the packages from coast to coast so quickly also raised a flag. It takes on average 3 to 4 days to send a package from the East coast to the West coast. The packages do not appear to be sent express/overnight mail. Did he have help? Were some of them hand-delivered? How did the packages get as far away as California? Or was the timeline of the packages off in the news media?

What about those stickers on his van?

The brand new stickers plastered all over his van were not there originally. According to various media, his van was once covered with Native American stickers because he fancied himself a Native American from the Seminole tribe (shades of Elizabeth Warren). They have never heard of him.

The newness of the stickers on the van was a red flag to most of us, because the Florida sun would have faded them severely had they been on the van for any length of time.

Not to mention the fact that they were in total violation of Florida code- any police officer would have pulled him over the minute they noticed his vision was obstructed.

Changing his name…a lot

Sayoc went by several names, depending on the social media. Cesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri Sayoc, Ceasar Altieri Randazzo (Facebook) or Julus Cesar Milan (Twitter), according to USA Today.

He does not appear to even have followed his obsession, Donald Trump on any social media platform. He only has liberals on his Twitter following.

Keep in mind for all of this that the minute something happens, idiots hop on social media and start fake profiles. Crazy people often obsess over people, whether the intended victims or the person. The above name is one of Sayoc’s aliases, so it’s likely legitimate, but it’s not totally confirmed. Other posts on other platforms reportedly knocked Democrats and George Soros and threatened numerous others.

USA Today reported (emphasis mine),

Scott Meigs, 52, of West Palm Beach, said he worked alongside Sayoc for two decades at strip clubs all over South Florida and said his colleague had never uttered a word about politics. Until about a month ago.

That’s when Meigs said Sayoc began peppering him with text messages about how Republicans needed to win the midterm elections, the Florida governor’s race andFlorida’s U.S. Senate race.

“He started talking politics non-stop,” said Meigs as he worked his dee-jay shift Friday night at the Ultra Gentlemen’s Club in West Palm Beach.

Why all of a sudden? Did he just snap? It’s entirely possible. He has a criminal history back to 2002. It included a previous bomb threat when he threatened to blow up his utility company if they turned off his electricity, according to the Telegraph.

Sayoc had many fantasies. He talked about being a bodybuilder, and male stripper (as part of the Chippendales- they’ve never heard of him either). Was he, as some reporters noted, just a “sad little man” who wanted to fit in, to be someone important?  It appears to be at least part of that. The strange coincidences…that could be another story.
