Under siege would be an understatement
With over 90 percent of his counties rebelling against his draconian gun law proposals and thousands of pissed off Virginia citizens prepared to storm the castle, Gov. Northam is frantically erecting physical barriers to contain the riff-raff. Imperious and lordly, this little tyrant strikes a comedic pose as he struts around the castle walls, daring his subjects to defy him.

Northam has buttressed his capitol police force with city cops and state troopers and he is having barriers erected around the capitol building and statehouse. Streets immediately surrounding Capitol grounds will be closed and there’s going to be additional fencing around the Capitol building. On Monday, there will only be one public entrance at the gate near N 9th Street and Grace Street, where all visitors will have to go through a security checkpoint with metal detectors.
Setting a tone of fear and paranoia, he is flapping around like Henny Pen-Pen screeching about the militia, white supremacists, and out of state troublemakers. Only it isn’t the sky that’s falling in Virginia, it’s the Constitutional rights of Old Dominion citizens—and they aren’t having any of it!

King Northam has decreed that no weapons will be allowed on the capitol grounds, not even helmets or shields! Does this remind anyone else of the 1775 British army’s march on Lexington and Concord to seize colonial weapons? Didn’t that officially touch off the Revolutionary War?
Does the dwarf tyrant really believe law-abiding citizens would try to assassinate him, or fire on the legislature–or is he attempting to touch off a shooting war between his troops and those who refuse to disarm? That would be a colossal mistake. By instilling an “us vs them” attitude among Virginia troopers, Northam appears to be intentionally setting the stage for bloodshed.
In an attempt to justify his alarmism, the governor clucked to the media:“We’re seeing threats of armed confrontation and assault on our Capitol!” It appears he is also trying to gin up outrage among the race-baiters. Northam painted the specter of White Nationalists at the gate and swore he would never allow another Charlottesville, as if being a 2ndAmendment advocate meant you were also racist.
Like a good neighbor, West Virginia is there
Always sympathetic to their cousins, West Virginians have invited as many Virginia counties to join their state as wish to. The West Virginia state government just drew up this bill to officially welcome new territories:

“Whereas, Article VI, Section 11 of The Constitution of the State of West Virginia explicitly permits additional territory to be admitted into, and become part of this state, with the consent of the Legislature and of a majority of the qualified voters of the state; and
Whereas, In a spirit of conciliation, the Legislature of West Virginia hereby extends an invitation to our fellow Virginians who wish to do so, to join us in our noble experiment of 156 years of separation from the government at Richmond; and, we extend an invitation to any constituent county or city of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the body politic of the State of West Virginia, under the conditions set forth in our state Constitution, specifically, with the consent of a majority of the voters of such county or city voting upon such proposition; and we hereby covenant that their many grievances shall be addressed, and, we further covenant with them that their firearms rights shall be protected to the fullest extent possible under our Federal and State Constitution.”

Virgexit? King Northam is powerless!
Ouch! Here is what would have to happen for the above to be official. The West Virginia legislature would have to approve the bill and the governor sign it into law. Then the Virginia counties who wished to would have to vote on leaving. Those counties which voted to leave would then have to be voted on by the good people of West Virginia to be accepted. Then it’s a done deal. All Northam and his liberal toadies could do about it is watch that revenue and representation in Washington walk away.
Let’s play what-if. What if Virginia counties make their move? Will that trigger further rebellion across the US? According to the Annexation agreement of 1845 when Texas joined the Union, it retains the right to further divide into a total of five states. As the Texas border region turns dark blue, many Texans in more rural areas fear the state will turn into another California. There are many other states like Colorado, and California that have regions unhappy with their state’s politics. Will Northam go down in history as the man that started a nation-wide rebellion against liberal government?

Oh God!
Even the clergy have abandoned him. Jerry Falwell Jr. made this statement: “I’m pretty sure I’m going to call for civil disobedience if the Democrats go through with this (gun control legislation).”
Uh oh! The extremely popular Falwell has seen a lot of governors come and go, and he knows when he’s looking at a bad one. Who will administer the last rites to Humpty Dumpty when he falls from the castle wall?
