Local News Source Concludes & Admits TRUMP IS RIGHT ‘Baltimore does have more murders per capita than Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador’

WJZ-Baltimore decided to do a fact check on Trump’s repetitive claims that Baltimore is one of the most murderous cities in the world.

Kudos to this local news outlet for reporting the truth to a city filled with liberal idealists.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The White House’s official Twitter account shared a startling statistic Thursday amid President Donald Trump’s Twitter feud with Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings: Baltimore’s murder rate is higher than that of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

The president repeated the claim while speaking with reporters shortly after the tweet was posted.

WJZ set out to verify the president’s statistic; here’s what we found.

#####

What do you think they found?

Is Baltimore slightly more dangerous than those 3 countries?

Hardly.

They are “slightly” ahead of El Salvador but the other 2 countries aren’t even in their weight class.

Here are the numbers.

  • Baltimore 51.3 murders per 100,000 residents
  • El Salvador 50 murders per 100,000 residents
  • Honduras 41.4 murders per 100,000 residents
  • Guatemala 22 murders per 100,000 residents

Those crossing the Southern Border are probably heading for someplace safer than Baltimore.

Here are the findings from WJZ:

THE CHECK:

WJZ reviewed data from 2018, the last full year for which data is available.

Data from the U.S. State Department’s Overseas Security Advisory Council lists El Salvador’s murder rate at 50 per 100,000 residents in 2018.

The council’s report listed Guatemala’s 2018 murder rate at 22 per 100,000.

Honduras’ 2018 murder rate was not included in OSAC’s annual crime and safety report published in April, but a report from the Observatory of Violence at the National Autonomous University of Honduras gave a figure of 41.4 murders per 100,000 residents.

HOW DOES BALTIMORE COMPARE?

Charm City ended 2018 with a total of 309 murders, according to the Baltimore Police Department. So far in 2019, police report 196 homicides have occurred.

Using the U.S. Census Bureau’s July 2018 population estimate for the city of 602,495, Baltimore’s 2018 murder rate is 51.3 murders per 100,000 residents.

True?

I wonder if they will be counting rats in Baltimore and comparing them to these South and Central American hell holes?

Guns, rats, bad representation, etc.

Baltimore has it all!

What ICE agents need to do is put illegal immigrants on buses and give them 2 choices:

  1. We can send you to Baltimore, or
  2. you can go home.

Which do you think they would choose?

Either option seems to be fitting because their presence might send Baltimore momentously spiraling in the right direction again.

Baltimore is a rat and crime infested hell hole and residents are starting to wake up to the truth.

Elijah Cummings must go and so must a city full of inept elected leaders who have done nothing but perpetuate this mess.
